In 2019 we commenced an AI - Flush - Embryo Transfer program under the breeding expertise of Graham Blanch of Charnelle Charolais. Having 5 Recip cows in our herd giving us the opportunity to use our Donor cow Embryos and source some amazing Embryos externally. Utilising reproductive Veterinarian Peter Atkinson from Allora QLD.
Peter's service through the whole process is invaluable from flushing to storage to implant of the Embryos to the moment he comes back to Ultrasound the girls and you see the Heartbeat on the screen. Then the moment at between 8-11 weeks of age the Foetal Sexing is just spot on. Peter is an integral part of the Blackduck Charolais story going forward.
